Events in the news for the last few years ave had me thinking "What if, and why the hell not?" Rest assured, what occurs in this short story can, and will, happen. With the number of concealed weapons carriers in America, it is only a matter of time. The church shooter put down by one such individual, gave me great satisfaction. I hope and pray, that if ever confronted with such a situation, I can act as calmly as she did. / (Reviews)
A Linkage Story (3) The Waiter's Tale sheds light on the life of the Chevalier and introduces characters pivotal to the story arc(!). The story contains a lot of travel and fornication, although much of the latter is noises off so to speak. There are also gobbets of history, music, and film talk. Threading through the tale is what could be considered a coming of age story. Judge for yourselves, although the first two stories in the Linkage series (both very short) will need to be read to make sense of this story.
A Driftwood on Memory's River...Story (10) A highly successful businessman out on the town with his subordinates goes to a swinging Jazz Club. While there, by chance he meets an old friend he knew back in the day. Before the evening is over, he rediscovers that some things in life really are more important. A bittersweet, poignant, and heartwarming story.
The tale of Karl Larson, his family and friends after the area where they live is hit by a major earthquake, then a tsunami. Not simply a disastor tale, the story also contains a minor mystery. (Although this is the first story written about Karl Larson, it will eventually be one of the later tales in this universe.)
A Tree House Saga Story (2) After years of longing for his lost love Lindie, Michael climbs one more time up into his childhood Tree House with her. The magic of the place continues to add to his life as does the product of their love, Michelle. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Reading Book 1 before this is suggested. / (Reviews)
