The USS Yellowstone is at the tail end of a six month deployment. The only thing left for the crew before they begin the journey home is a three day liberty call in Izmir, Turkey for some well deserved rest and relaxation. Hull Technician Second Class, Kevin Meadows is as anxious as the rest of the crew to return home, but after one day in Turkey the thought of returning home is the last thing on his mind.
Ty Bugler was about to board the final leg of his two-layover cross-country trek when he heard that there was a delay due to a bad switch in the cockpit. Its another one of those, "You don't know what you've got (or what you will miss), until you ain't not got it no more!" stories!
A The Engineer Story (8) Another story about Susan, ponies, her developing career and, hopefully, success. This is a sort of side plot to the Engineer which I found interesting enough to pursue.
