A Story in the Fate Universe
A bit of facts, some myths and some fiction from my imagination. Ever wonder how Friday the 13th became unlucky? There are more than a few religions, cultures, books and TV shows on the subject from, like 1100 until now so pick one yourself. I'm sticking to this story myself.
Annie wasn't naïve when she followed Tom to Serbia, but perhaps a little innocent. It was 1997, Communism had collapsed, and the Balkan Wars appeared over. It seemed the perfect time for a young couple to make their fortune, explore the world, and leave past disappointments behind. But Belgrade could be cruel to foreigners, and in the end, Annie's innocence would fall as its victim. Yet, she learned, the city had gifts had to offer too - gifts that could prove just as intense as its dangers...

A Conversations Story Another difficult conversation, although in this case, what turns out to be a different conversation between six people, and which turns out to be pretty one-sided in the end.
Anna is kidnapped by the cartels to be sold as a slave. Using stolen biomedical technology, they implant a device inside her womb to suppress her ability to reach orgasm. Locked into a chastity belt, Anna must now survive the ordeals of the slave training program as she tries to find a way to escape. Soon however, the frustration of being edged everyday while having her orgasms denied begins to wear on her mind. With the future uncertain, only fate will tell whether she will survive.
When a burglar breaks into a house to steal, he finds that the husband and wife are home. The cowardly husband offers his wife in place of himself when he is threatened and has to suffer the indignity of watching the burglar rape his new wife while she is still wearing her wedding dress.
Who shot JR Ewing? I mean who shot JFK? One was a fictional Dallas, and the other has much fiction attached. Agent "Jackie" has been voluntold to investigate a coup in progress and begins with an investigation into a dead actress, a trip down a rabbit hole.
