An ice miner from the barren moon of Ganymede gets the break of a lifetime when a UN job placement program relocates him to Valbara – a lush paradise planet with fresh air, clean water, and no need for pressure suits. The aliens are small reptilian creatures with strange social behaviors whose females outnumber males by 7-1, and he finds himself the unwitting focus of attention in the workplace.

When Narcisa loses her husband her life spirals in change. Years later, she is restless, fighting in the pit fights. Her current boyfriend is using her, but to what end? And what is that killer symbiote creature running around?

Earth's civilization will end in 17 years when 95% of the Earth's population is killed. Jon is selected to create a polygamous society to repopulate the world and as its leader he must create a harem and a foundation that will aid him in preparing a shelter for over 1 million people and in creating a new society. The disaster cannot be prevented. It must remain a secret or Earth's governments and people will panic and try to take the shelter away from Jon and his foundation's employees.
