From enemy soldiers not just attacking the contractors but one of the villages of their own people to enemy planes trying to destroy what they are building.

The only sex mentioned in the story is something witnessed by the MC and happens in the background. It is not part of the story.

The fighting was more fierce but now even those Clar in the south were joining the fight. A simple night patrol and ambush turns into something else when a young Clar general is captured. First he was not armed and had come out looking for us to surrender. Second was he gave up enough intel for us to strike and break the enemy's lines.

A Nexus Story This is the introduction piece for a series to come called Nexus Interludes.
