A Story in the Ol' Blues Eyes - Jake River's Eighth Invitational Universe
Fresh from college, a young civil engineer finds himself suddenly living a life of adventure that only his famous grandfather could appreciate. Saving his lovely co-worker from dangerous revolutionaries will be just the start if he wants to restore the rightful hereditary queen of the island, and just maybe, if he’s lucky, he’ll find himself ‘King for a Day’, at least in her heart! A screwy tale of adventure and romance.

This is the story of John Edwards, a fighter pilot in WW1, his combat experiences, and his romance with Connie Butler, a Red Cross worker. Most of the story involves a little-known, but very important, battle against the German observation balloons. John's favorite method of attack came from my imagination, but it could have worked and made a difference in the war. Every infantryman in WW1 had nothing but praise for the guts of the balloon busters.

A Clar war Story
When I joined the navy I was chosen for small craft warfare. In my case it was coastal patrols on boats. When I added my present to the barrel of my auto cannon it turned into something even more deadly. Of course there are other dangers than boats or planes firing at us. I learned that lesson on our first patrol when the enemy blows up a trawler in our face.

A young woman is raped and swears revenge. This is her story, along with that of some partners she picks up along the way. The story is bloody and violent, and there is no sex, unless you count rape and full nudity. Skip this one if you don't like vigilante justice. Pimps and rapists are in particular danger.

This is the story of how some Americans set out to thwart the Russian Mafia in the USA. Between some support of terrorists and some general criminal nastiness, the Russians have a lot to answer for. These heroes are operating as vigilantes, so keep that in mind. There is no overt sex in this story: it is more of an action/adventure.

A Clar war Story
A teenager seeking revenge finds the only way north and into the combat zone was with a contractor. It is not long before he gets what he is seeking and finds out there are other sides to the war. From enemy soldiers not just attacking the contractors but one of the villages of their own people to enemy planes trying to destroy what they are building.

You don't have code clearance to read this. It's above Top Secret. If you know about the Sword, Shield and Guard, you've violated statutes that will get you tossed into a deep, dark hole in some black site. You've been warned. This story should never have come out. The author who wrote it is missing. There's sex, violence, adventure, politics, the President is involved. I shouldn't have said that. Wait. What's that? Do you hear sounds outside? A parting gift from my ex

You will have to read Book 1 to understand where this story is going to take you. An action/adventure story with a little twist. Mystery which the main characters are asking the same questions we are, Who and How is that possible? Marty and Tom start out with- "What are we to do now" in Book 1, to a Multi-Billion dollar conglomerate in Book 2. Then the Curve is thrown, at that point Book 3 should finish the story or maybe not.

In a time when Royals ruled and nobles rebelled seeking more power. Only the Duke's plan to use his youngest daughter to save the kingdom. Will she succeed and be able to carry out her father's plan? The only sex mentioned in the story is something witnessed by the MC and happens in the background. It is not part of the story.
