Kelly's Heroes is one of my favorite movies. So when I sat down to write this, I wrote it from a modern warfare perspective and put the first scene starting after they had the money and were escaping. The end of the story is what they did with the reward money. I left a bit of room for sequel, but I'll only write it if there's enough interest. Hope you enjoy and please let me know if you like it or what I can do better...

John was a man's man and was soured on romance. Julie was half owner in "Menage A Trois," a sexy woman's boutique. It took corrupt cops, a shooting and a TV reporter to get them together. Oh yes, John got his erect "profile" shown on television. That helped the romance a little.

A Brinkley Family Adventures Story This is a direct continuation of "Regrowth." Please read that story first or this one won't make sense. Here, the Brinkley family continues their battles against the bad guys. The main opponents are ISIL (formally known as ISIS), human traffickers, and drug smugglers. Also, the family starts to grow, and they pick up some valuable allies.
I'm reposting a story that I pulled from SOL and then edited to meet the slightly more stringent guidelines from late March of this year. I also changed the story's name slightly. Yes, I know Santo Diablo is Western Hemisphere Spanish, and Portuguese is the official language in Brazil. Tough tookies. Story of a spy who gets out of the business. He retires to Rio planning to use what he has learned to create the life he's always dreamed of. adventure, action, intrigue, and espionage.
