The very, very rough draft of my story Siobhan is now being looked at, mauled, tickled, and otherwise processed by my "1st readers." I'm abusing them with a draft rougher than I like others to see, but they seem to like it, even as they pounce on typos and suggest improvements.
Why a rougher draft? The story started out about a young woman, a couple actually, in a dystopian situation - then the river left its banks. I'm thinking in a little over a week it will be enhanced and proofed so that I can post. This story is a good example why I complete a work before posting. Look for it, please.
I've started two additional stories - one in the Swarm Cycle, a sequel to Inkie, and the other a sequel in the Damsels In Distress Universe - maybe about Monica Mechanic or a continuation of Pēteris or a combination - we'll need to see.
I don't always have control over which story gets written next or how it runs, but I will take into consideration your thoughts and preference.
One story in the top three of two Clitorides. Wow! Thank you for nominating and voting. I appreciate my readers.
Don't Blame Me! is my favorite of the stories I've written. I'm very glad you folks like it too.
Many thanks for your kind words.
I just want to let those of you who download your stories to save or read in a reader - As of this posting, all reported typos have been fixed, and the versions now on line are complete and clean.
Well, we come to the end of our adventure. As soon as this posts I'll kick the posting queue, and the last chapter and cast list will post shortly thereafter.
So... Did Annie and Tina make it to Crossroads? AND What exactly is The Crossroads Justice League? Find out today!
One reader let me know that he got my joke that Beavis had a lot of buttheads living there.
If you haven't voted on this story, please do. It doesn't take a lot of time or effort, and I do appreciate your feedback.
And voting is still open for the Clitorides Awards. There are lots of deserving authors that deserve your attention - PLUS you might find some excellent stories you haven't yet read. I know I have.
You can thank Mr. Younger. Look for Damsel Annie's Story any time.
We'll finish the tale tomorrow.
Enjoy!
