Most of my stories are set in one of three universes:
The Swarm Cycle
Damsels in Distress
The Human Nexus Universe
All my Swarm Cycle stories typically involve some or even all the characters from those titled THE Harem. If you sort by the creation date of the stories, they will pretty much be in order. This applies applies for the other universes.
A Swarm Cycle Story
Caleb, in his brainship named "Cheval Jaune", starts a tour of the Milky Way’s Confederacy. How will the various species respond to this metal-encased human? Familiarity with the Swarm Cycle and the author’s previous stories is strongly encouraged, as detailed character descriptions from "Caleb and Cheval Jaune" are mostly not repeated.
My thanks to Trunk Monkey, Zen Master, Steve, Old Rotorhead, Derek Smith, 8tduecemedic, SW MO Hermit... and the rest – you know who you are.
A Swarm Cycle Story
The Sa'arm have landed on Earth. People and even the Confederacy must change and adapt. This is Michael's story, set in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle universe. If you haven't read previous stories, you'll miss some of this story's precepts and some excellent tales. Notes: This is not a sex manual, but there is explicit sex. Town and business names are real, the attributes and people are fiction. Rape and sexual violence take place off camera.
A Swarm Cycle Story
The Sa'arm have landed. Michael and his ladies were extracted to form a unique team partnered with a US marshal and the Confederacy's Office of Targeted Extraction. Dubbed THE Harem, the ladies kick ass. I suppose this could be a stand alone story, but it is a sequel to The Times They Are A Changing and would be a lot more fun if you've read more stories in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle. Notes: This is not a sex manual, but there is explicit sex. Rape and sexual violence take place off camera.
A Swarm Cycle Story
No matter how bad a sponsor turns out to be, his concubine is powerless, right? Well, maybe... This story is the third in THE Harem series and needs the first two to 'get' many references.
A Swarm Cycle Story
Last we knew, the Tuull tasked Michael and THE harem to build a new, experimental colony. Getting ready becomes even more interesting when additional Tuull AIs arrive on the scene. Based in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle, this story builds upon prior harem tales and won't be easy to follow unless you've read them. A special thanks to lordshipmayhem who gave me so many ideas about the Tuull, and to Anne N. Mouse who let me build on her story - 'It's A Helluva Job.' Feedback is welcome. Enjoy!
A Swarm Cycle Story
Again situated in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle, Inkie and Helva are given some missions. Interesting missions. No graphic sex, just some situations...
A Swarm Cycle Story
Women never noticed him. Never, not even his own mother. Then the Confederacy decided he had a talent that they desperately needed. The Office of Targeted Extractions got involved. Things changed.
You will get much more from this short story if you've read other stories in the Swarm Cycle. / (Reviews)
A Swarm Cycle Story
Set in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle universe. At his extraction, a young volunteer requests that his unborn, dependent child be picked up with him, and the mother wants to go. Minor detail: he has three unborn dependents at the extraction site, and this volunteer is authorized only two concubines. The AI refuses to make a decision, and it falls to Sub-Decurion Barry Manilow Smith (Remember Signifer BMS from 'Don't Blame Me!') to straighten out the mess - or does it?
A Swarm Cycle Story
With AIs watching everything, all the time, how can humans mutiny against a tyrannical, sadistically abusive, Captain? Boats knew Captain Dreck had to die. How? Then, what? My thanks to TrunkMonkey, Doc, pcbondsman, Steve, Fred, and Reluctant Sir for their editing, proofing, and altogether making this a better read. Note: A few real people and places inhabit this story, but everything is fiction. Even cited opinions.
A Swarm Cycle Story
Set in Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle, this pickup story follows two very different families extracted from the same location. Jason stops to help a young girl walking home in the snow, and... Why would Bob White's Covey decline to be picked up - on multiple occasions? Readers advise me that I should let you know characters from "THE Harem Tales" and "Woody" begin to appear in Chapter 2. Having read these stories will help. A character list would not.
