Robert James has 'traveled' and seen many places in his last career. He meets Allis and Donna when he helped Claire when she fell in DC. Franz calls to thank him, saying on the phone Claire was his sister, then, the next day, saying she was his wife. Bobby was wondering how this had happened. All three girls were gorgeous, he already had dreams about them. Now this! Sorry for the many errors in ch 2, which was reposted 6/5/13
Peter was always a little different. He came from money but to him it did not mean as much as friendship. When his parents were killed, it took a long time for him to heal. That started when he began to help others. He found his own life started again.
Brad watches the "Slut" of his life have a little 'Fun'. He is just glad they were not married yet. Starting over is pretty easy. While on his way West he meets a woman and her daughter. He stops feeling sorry for himself and tries to help them In the end they help each other start over.
Things can seem far worse than what they really are. When given a way to get the thing he wants most, Jim comes to find out that the 'Trade' he would make was going to cost him much more than he ever realized, much more.
In CH 3, I flashback some items from CH 1 & 2 and extract non-original descriptions of some things.
What If. Famous lost words. Lost because we seldom mean what we say. Sam and I often were at a loss for words, but inside we both always knew what the other meant.
How young is too young? How old do you have to be to just know what you want in life? Angie knew what she wanted when she was 11 years old. Five years she waited and her dreams were answered.
Sam Malone and 'Joey'(Gina)Val Posey were friends since she was five. Sam never knew it, but Kathy, then Joey were going to change his life, for the better. Just a little hint. In this first story, nothing 'bad' happens. Oh, there is some 'family' envy, 'threats' and 'demands' for money, jobs, and favours made, but it goes with the restaurant business. In the subsequent stories things 'heat' up. The second story is in Sicily, then in the third story with the 'kids' sets a unimagined theme.
Thing happen I know. Why they all seemed bad to me, I did not know. Texas, more accurately, Dallas, was one of the constants now in my life. Mira, my sister, and Brooke now, seemed to keep me on the right track. Everything else was for 'Shit'. I had started a small, low cost gym and found that it did not pay the bills. Personal protection was the natural next step and then we seemed to have hit some measure of success, at least in business.
What to do, what to do? Our main man can work wonders in the field, but to try to have him tell 'his' girls anything and he seems to be unable to say 'No' to anything they say. Sure they are cute, well built, long legs and are blonds, but still, how could they take over his life. C'mon man, get real. It should be an easy decision, right? His 'Masters' at work think so. There is just something about them though.
What would you do? Sam had to ask himself that same question several times, only in his case the answer reached was not theoretical. No matter how he would phrase things or try to rationalize the situation, the answer he reached was always the same. He had to 'Do the right thing'. It was not that he could be snowed by a 'sad' tale or blinded by a pretty face, but he was at a point in his life that the phrase, 'Pay it forward' meant something to him.
