When Henry converts his string of high class brothels into top of the range retirement homes, he uses his 'girls' as carers, employing others with equally damaged lives. His death at 90 - expected but sudden - leaves his grand nephew ill-prepared to take command. The story is set in Scotland, a great wee country well worth a visit!

This is not a combat story, but a recounting of the activities of my father, a transport driver, and his friends in the Australian Army during World War 2. It's the incidents and events they talked about over a drink when they got together to remember the old days. Most are funny, in many ways, and some are frightening.
