When 14-year-old Devante is wandering around Manhattan, he accidentally stumbles upon Beverly Moore; a blond six-foot-tall self-defense instructor who bills herself as the Karate Queen. Immediately, he knows he has to break her. What follows is his story as he puts into action a devilish plan during which, not only will he defeat Beverly in single combat, but he'll make it clear to her that she is well and truly conquered by making her shatter the ultimate taboo with her own 14-year-old son.

A young woman is manipulated by a sadistic older man, falling in love with him. To keep him happy, she slowly learns that this is no line she wouldn't cross to make him happy.

A group of angry workers take revenge on a bunch of destructive anarchic enviro/antifas including the women. The enviros never ever bother the pipeline construction again.

This is a very short story for the readers of the Growing Pains Universe. It is an additional tale, one of around 40 short flash stories designed to introduce characters and provide back story where required. Not all of the characters will be familiar instantly, but it will all tie in at the end! This story takes place in June 1990 and describes the rape of barmaid, Helen Anne White. Although the rapist was not caught immediately, when he was it tore apart his family.
