True Story Stories

A 19 year old dude visits his uncle overseas in Yugoslavia on a farm for the 1st time; a stoic rugged guy, a man of few words that hardly socialised with anyone, seems to become magnetised to his long haired rocker looking bearded nephew from modern Australia. They spend every day together developing a bromance relationship in this low key farming village landscape where toilets were still optional. One day the nephew tests the extent of his uncle's magnetism.

It was the last day of a great Spring Break. Although it was hard to leave home, I got a great sendoff - definitely a day for the diary! It started with a great wakeup call and then off to church where I was reunited with an old friend - in more ways than one!

I chose a religious university based on its personal learning atmosphere and impressive academic credentials. Although frustrated at times with the strict rules I'm sure in the future I won't regret my choice. In comparison, my cousin Kristen chose hers based on being close to home and having a good time; apparently a degree was an afterthought. When I was home on break I got to experience dorm party life at my cousin's university which was just a tad bit different from mine.

It was supposed to be just another typical brief office Christmas party where lunch is catered, a few gifts handed out, Christmas music plays, and maybe an appearance by Santa. You never know who you're going to meet at such gatherings - or what you'll do with them.

Just because you don't have any guys at your party doesn't mean you can't have fun. Kristen and I each invited our best friend and you can imagine what a night we had!

I simply LOVE to water ski. About the only thing better to do on a boat is... well, you know. Combine the two and you have a great day. Add in your boyfriend and you have all the ingredients for a FANTASTIC day!

Muse Muse, v. t. 1. To think on; to meditate on. 2. To wonder at. [Obs.] Source: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913) Note: This is NOT a "stroke story" with lots of sex but rather just me getting some things off my chest. If after reading it you have any suggestions or comments as to what I should do, please send them to me!

Sometimes the best things come about unexpectedly. I'd been anticipating a rather boring Memorial Day weekend which only appeared to get worse when my dad invited me to visit his mother in Illinois. Then he invited my Aunt Linda and her daughter Kristen to join us and that changed everything!

Its sad that this is part of the Gil saga but it is. This is the story of the time Jenna came to visit me from Seattle while I still lived with Gil. Thankfully it went very well still but not without Gil putting his vile stains all over it!

Be warned, this one is very sad. It's the story of my relationship with my fiance, Lisa Brambles. Every moment I got with her is a precious memory of mine that I wouldn't trade for anything.
