Friends gather to celebrate the life of their friend Richard Jordan: Fireman, elder, and mentor. What happened in the fall of 1965 that changed Richard forever? Nobody knew. Before he died, Richard shared the story with a young man he was mentoring. He made him swear to wait until after his death to share it. Now, Sam, the young man, tells about the magick that entered Richard's life. All Norse Words are defined in the story. Dedicated to Þór Óðinsson (Thor)
Broken Hearts
Hugh Davidson had the perfect marriage and the perfect wife for 36 years. But he learned the hard way that nothing perfect lasts. He wasn't a dramatic man, no grand gestures for him. A hard-headed Jacksonville banker, he accepted reality and all he really wanted was to die and for the pain to go away. But when you have loving children and loyal friends, and your boss and friend is worth a cool $50 million, sometimes they won't let you take the easy way out. You just have to keep going.
My life was a mess. My marriages awful, but I loved my step-daughter like she was my own. I'm not marking all the discripions. Don't want to give too much away.
Fall of the Kingdom Running away from the elder's order to marry, two youths come across a trail of devastation. The Black has come, and with it the fall of the Kingdom. Kayla and her friends have graduated high school. Now it is on to college and the real world. New adventures, new loves, new friends. Yet, their crazy senior year in high school is not done haunting them. This story is a direct sequel to Birthday Pool Party. I did attempt to write the first chapter in such a way that someone who hasn't read Birthday Pool Party could follow along, but reading Birthday Pool Party first will enhance the experience.
