Meiying is a 25-year-old woman who has no recollection of her life before she was 10. She was raised by her Houma (Stepmother) after she was burned in an arson accident. After Houma's death, Meiying winds up on the streets, eventually working in an 'adult entertainment' venue behind a 'glory hole'.
