A Swarm Cycle Story
This story progresses over an extended period, from the time "The Good Ship Lollipop" arrives to found the experimental Harrad Colony on Pern through the development and first deployment of a new weapon some fifteen years later. I think you'll enjoy this story more if you have read others in my series. He had decided a trip to Orient was in his crystal ball. He hoped to find one of them there. Penny and Kale would need to help Alexus to claim his apprentice's box, and they believed this was not going to be an easy chore. A story set in the Pinwheel Universe
An ice miner from the barren moon of Ganymede gets the break of a lifetime when a UN job placement program relocates him to Valbara – a lush paradise planet with fresh air, clean water, and no need for pressure suits. He soon realizes that navigating the local culture and office politics will be a challenge. The aliens are small reptilian creatures with strange social behaviors whose females outnumber males by 7-1, and he finds himself the unwitting focus of attention in the workplace.

This is a story about a boy and a girl and a planetary invasion. It is unfinished, and may never be finished. Not my best work either, but the idea was sound. I started writing this almost 20 years ago and while I had certain scenes in my head, the progression was difficult. Feel free to let me know what you think.
