A two-chapter 'Personalia' story that came to me when I was thinking about something completely different. Enjoy.

Back in 2014, one of the "Swarm Cycle" writers' email group posted most of a short story. I finished it for my own entertainment. It's been ten years. If anyone can find it elsewhere I'll pull this. Oh, Science Fiction War Drama.

On an exploratory road trip to the east coast I found the perfect home in New Hampshire. Now, if I could buy it I'd be happy...If I could find someone to sell it...If I could find out who owns it...and what about the fine red lines surrounding the house when it's foggy? Why do most of the old men look alike and why are the women young, buxom, blond and beautiful. But, most of all, what casts the shadows on the windows?

Jacqui's life was hard as an orphan born in 2093. She went to a number of jobs which she mostly lost for petty theft, or refusing to co-operate with her boss. Along the way she learned to enjoy spanking. Eventually she ended up in jail with a three month sentence for petty theft
