Some things cannot be done alone; they need co-operation. In the greater scheme of things, that usually derives from caring about something. Caring can cause anger, resentment and in some cases love. Join a young man who only feels he has a job and tries to do it well, then finds out it leads to real friends and maybe caring and love too. The setting is S E France, the action mostly in Europe, that changes eventually also.

A quirky romance between two college students. This story began as a short story for a creative fiction class ten years ago and I've gradually been adding and re-editing it since. I'm reposting part one and adding the other three parts. There is no real explicit sex in Less than Half.
A Story in the Kobekistan Universe
In Kobekistan the Emir and his friends enjoy hunting, on horseback, with dogs. There are no foxes in Kobekistan so they hunt slaves, usually female, and the dogs they use are Irish Wolfhounds. Of course the "kill" is also different. Expensive slaves are not to be torn apart by dogs, so they are used to amuse the hunters. A little bit of everything hetero in here. Those of you who enjoyed Tamsin may well enjoy this.
