A story in the George series.
George is a widower and he is home alone in the cold Danish autumn. Out of the blue, or out of the creek more like, Melissa - his oldest daughter Emma's friend - shows up. Melissa has been invited to spend the week studying with Emma while her parents are out of the country. Only Emma isn't there - she's on holidays with her siblings visiting relatives. What is George to do?
