In the future, a biotech conglomerate tests its products on an unsuspecting populace.

Matt is a typical teenage boy and when a hot chick offers him a ride, he talks her into parking under the stars, never realizing that she might actually be from one of them. Well, to be fair about it, the boy had his mind on other things.

A truly romantic story. In a zoo, but not bestiality. With aliens, but not interracial. An unfaithful wife, but not cheating. Oh, and a baby girl, but no paedophilia.

This is part of the same chain story/universe that RedHairedandFriendly set up with the character of Laresa, a genie who lives in a ring. This chapter is set in medieval Wales, during the Black Death.

A Story in the Ridiculous Universe
Many authors have suggested effects of a skewed sex ratio (e.g., Planet Grayson, Honor Harrington opus, David Weber; A Brother's Price, Wen Spencer). This story is nothing at all like those. Daymon's life is ordinary until he is called to meet a Visitor. Is the gorgeous naked girl a figment of imagination? Daymon's planet has a ~20:1 female:male ratio, uses a metric clock (metric-timeDOTcom), and has an orbital period 1/8 longer than Earth's (ponder what that means for individuals' ages).

A Story in the A New World Tree Is Possible Universe
The last Mage is waiting at the last remaining star in a dying Universe. He's waiting for the last battle against the only real Enemy of all sentient species in the history of the Universe. Survival isn't a desired outcome, with all other life in the Universe extinguished. Killing the Enemy that has killed all the Mage has ever loved is the only goal. After all, what more could there be after the last battle?
