Survival isn't a desired outcome, with all other life in the Universe extinguished. Killing the Enemy that has killed all the Mage has ever loved is the only goal. After all, what more could there be after the last battle?

A Holmes Detective Agency story (1) Ned Holmes is the younger and less well-heeled cousin of a certain well known detective. He will take on 'unsavoury' cases, and at long last Sherlock has passed on a valued client.
This was my first attempt at exploring the subject I used for my story, "One Quantum Leap for Mankind". I like the other story better, but this version was fun to write. It starts off the same way, but takes a very different turn.
Colony world of Crocodylia
Crocodylia is a harsh world and scientist stand little chance of surviving if someone does not watch them. To make it worse this group wanted to study the ocean creatures which are even larger and deadly. Most of my job is shadowing them and watching everything else. There is also having to feed them and reminding them of danger.
Forth in the Bounty Hunter series. A short story that gets our hero out of the woods and on the way home.
Very little violence, sex is sparce. There's just so much a guy can get into out in the deep woods of East Texas. There's no place like home.
