A story in the Kaire Universe
When his older brother became the emperor Leo had his chance. His clan was a mix of many species and even though he was Kaire he wanted a human female. Being the representative for his people was not starting off as well as he thought but things were going to get better.
A soldier with a year left before retiring is in a last battle when things go bad. First he is knocked out of a shuttle and then he is shot destroying a carrier and the enemy command. He is taken prisoner and they try to torture him before he is dumped on an isolated island with other prisoners.

This is the story of their lives from the time they come back, to graduation from high school. Who knew that the Master PC program existed back in the early 1980s? Violence is minimal, but there.
