A Hoddinot Story This is the second story in the series. It tells of mature and conflicting loves and the deliverance of a girl from the after effects of sexual abuse. It is set in modern England but in the West Country where things are a little less modern than in London.
It is the 25th century. War rages between humanity and the Bugs - a ravenous hive mind. At last, the end is in sight. The Bugs have had enough: Humans are too tough, too wily, too vicious. They have sued for peace. For Prince Louis Benoit XII, this peace is merely the beginning of the struggle. His father, King Benoit XI, wishes to cement the peace treaty between humanity and the bugs with a traditional move made between human monarchs. A royal marriage between his son and the Bugs.
'Jen's Dream Santa' sequel. Junior and Jen are obligated to spend the whole of December in the North Pole, Jen learning the Mother Christmas role with on-the-job training. Jen doesn't want to miss the family festive holiday, so she organises a pre-Christmas celebration with all her family and friends at a November Christmas bash, a resounding success. Jen starts her Christmas nightmare training with M-in-Law, which we read about it through a journal provided by the Chief Elf Librarian.
Dave meets Crystal, and the chemistry is instant. Later, he meets her sister, Trish - and the chemistry is instant. His father gets involved. Things expand rapidly from there, with one 'adult' situation after another. Dave's confidence soars. More 'adult' friends appear and join in. A Ley Line Witch Story When raiders, the horse barbarians,attack their village, Nikshith fled with most of the other villagers. At 75, he soon had trouble keeping up with the younger people. He laid an ambush for the attackers and killed two of them before they killed him. An hour or so later, he came back to life, his wounds healed. This is, obviously, Book 10 of the series. It has new narrators and travels in new directions as the people of Protection and Preservation search the world for more survivors. Distances can be long between stops and new possibilities await the exploration team. Time continues to flow from the Day, now almost forty years ago.
