A random meeting, between two nice people. A random pairing that just might work.

The Songleton Care Home hold an end of season minibus outing to the seaside for a short weekend break in Autumn. The volunteer driver is local MP Monty avoiding a driving ban. Monty's wife has arranged Monty's community task, why? The passengers are old, with health and mobility issues. Sally likes George but George converses with his dead wife. The Nurse Sofija is not who she seems to be. And Boris, the latest to join the trip, is Russian pretending to be Belgian, protective of his heavy bag.
This is a somewhat similar story to the first, but takes place in a different location, without the gratuitous sex. Others do those much better than I, so I will stick with what I think I am better at. The characters might change as does the plot. It takes place up in Alaska's Brooks Range, and around Fairbanks, and then moves out west. The story will live or die on its own merits.
Perhaps it was because she'd heard it so often that it had become true. She'd been called a 'good girl' throughout her sixteen years by her parents, relatives, and teachers. Nerd was a term that she and her few friends had often heard used about themselves. But one day someone spotted the naughty girl hidden away inside, just waiting to be let out.
