The parents of Kenny, a fourteen-year-old Denver boy, have busy lives and don't give the boy the attention he craves. He could do anything and they wouldn't notice. He has struggled with his sexuality and decided he prefers men. Men, not other boys. He also wants attention and expensive toys, all of which can come together for him if he can get the necessary experience. His scout master, Bob Butler, is more than willing to give him that experience.

Casey Casinger is a young genius, he loves to dabble in his Dad's lab and concoct potions to make the young girls have growth spurts, as well as energy and sexual ambitions. He calls his newest concoction: Clitorade. He has one for boys too; Top-Jock. He also has a concoction that makes him invisible; he has FUN with this.

Mrs. Vaughn enlists the, more or less, willing aid of her daughter to help teach her class of fourteen-year-old boys and girls about female anatomy.

For 2 girls, they remember 1968 quite differently than most of how their age group does. They do not remember it for the "Summer of Love", but for the "Winter of the Drive-In".
