Chief Eddie Nolan's ship is heading south to Australia, and New Zealand. It is Eddie's dream cruise. He and his fellow Chief, HMC Al Tory are enjoying themselves and making a hit among the women they come in contact with. Eddie is also being kept up to date with what is happening with his wife and children in the letters being sent to him.
Two brothers farmed potatoes together. One had two daughters and, because Covid prevented them from dating, he felt it was his duty to prepare them to be good wives. His own wife agreed. The other brother had a son and a daughter, and whey they found out what their cousins were doing, they felt like they should participate in getting ready for marriage, too. The result was two families engaged in a taboo lifestyle, which worked as well as the farming did. And the farming worked very well indeed.
It was a day to repair things, and I was dressed accordingly. I did not expect to meet a lovely young woman. It was a slob day that turned out like I never expected.
A Story in the Life in the Suburbs Universe
A young man is undergoing counselling, and writes his memories of the days around some fairly traumatic events in his life, events that resulted in the need for the counselling. These include the death of his parents, and how he becomes much closer with his sisters and some other friends, much closer. Set in Australia.
The story line is about a wife traveling on remote highway and her car broke down and called for roadside service. The tow driver told her he could have fixed tomorrow morning, and she could sleep over since nothing around for over 100 miles. She agreed. Lisa was travel out of state for a business meeting when her car broke down, airline fully booked force her to make the trip if she wanted to keep her job.
