Tom felt a bus pass him and then heard it hit the brakes just as he neared the stop. Without much thought, he stepped into the bus, after the rear doors, whooshed open beside him. He stopped long enough to flash his 'Go-Card' at the device to pay for his trip. The bloody thing wouldn't register. 'Great, just bloody great,' he fumed. The card was out of cash. Then he learns the "why" of his transfer and his life becomes a bit more complicated.

Upgrade is a novel that deals with the relationship transformations of a number of characters. The plot winds through the development and daily living of a highly sexed polyamorous intentional family that develops over several years. Hot sex plays a major role in the story; there are other themes too. The sex gets detailed, hot, wet, sloppy, and sometimes repetitive; that's real life. Dusty Carmichael works for UNSEC as an MP and a Detective with her partner and husband, James. In January of 2098, they were reassigned from their jobs on Luna to a special task force. There is also a secret to their success. They are not ordinary people anymore. This story covers their adventures investigating a crime syndicate that spanned more than one solar system. As per usual, Dusty’s curiosity got her and James into trouble. Her dad often joked that ‘Trouble’ was her middle name.

After helping Gaspard ascend to the throne of Orlais, he requests a private meeting with Inquisitor Lavellan. However the dark skinned elf is not unaware of what kind of man he is or of his particular lusts, and does everything she can to ensure that he will be true to his word and help the Inquisition.

Kano has aligned himself with Kronika and brought his younger self from the past to the current timeline. When her parents are captured by the Black Dragon syndicate, Cassie Cage sets out with a Special Forces team to rescue them. Johnny is saved. But things play out very differently from canon as Cassie and Sonya are fed to Kano's depraved appetites.

It would be the first time Tammy had visited without my mom being around so I wasn't sure how things would go. I wasn't even sure WHY she was visiting us for that matter. Looking back, why was I even worried?
