She bonds with her charge and they bond, sexually, with others they meet. Being an experienced verteran, her satirical view of things is firmly entrenched and shown for the reader's amusement. Add to that his inexperience and you have a bubbling, sarcastic brew.

The story of that relationship is told when Cobra hits the "play" button on her VCR and shows the visitor some things he never would have anticipated. He gets MUCH more than an interview, too.
