Writing prompt of humans who pack bond with anything, including the darkness itself. A flash fiction that is a little dark and deals with depression.

Average Joe was damaged in the First World War, shot down for the third time unlucky, often quipping that losing a leg and an ear he was "less than average" and at 43 was a confirmed bachelor. Then he met heavily pregnant widow Anjelica, "call me Anjie", but Joe thought she was an angel. And she was until her first husband turned up Out of the blue like a bad penny. Unusually, this story starts at the End rather than the Beginning.

A story in the Roleplay fantasy world Universe
This is a fictional story in my roleplay world. It was written as something that he was doing to pay tribute to soldiers he had served with and survived combat with (survivors from the "Worst Day" story). Note: I am not a bladesmith and have never touched a forge. So please forgive any inaccuracies in my describing the work done.

Guy gets sent to the Sandbox, in this case, Afghanistan. Problem is, he married a slut. He's pretty sure that while he was away, She CHEATED! She cheated. Or maybe, she cheated?? Read it and see. -- I included the 'cheating' tag, but it really should be 'cheating??' -- I've gotten several feedbacks from Vets about this, thanking me for posting a positive story about coming home.
