Lebanese-English fourteen-year-old boy, Amir, goes with his submissively gay father, Afram, on holiday in Turkish Cyprus in 1986. Amir wants to go the same way sexually as his father, but has not been taken there yet. His father hooks up with a hunky Danish UN contingent soldier, who also has the eye for Amir.
