He is on one of those ancient trains from yesteryear and wakes up on a no longer existent elevated track on the east side of Manhattan 150 years earlier. The Civil War is in full bloom and life is suddenly filled with danger all around.

The idea for this story has been bouncing around in my head for a while now and I finally was in a situation where I felt compelled to actually write it. The basis for the story is the song by the same name "One Boy, One Girl", by Colin Raye. So the idea and all lyrics quoted are credited to him and his songwriters. It may help to listen to the song before reading this story.
