Told in four Parts and loosely based on the song it was titled after: The story of a trip from Michigan to California, a man, a woman and a Volkswagon Van. The locations are as much a character in this story as the man and woman are. I will include the songs Lyrics at the end of part four.

The Lostridge family is nice, normal and routine. Or are they? Summer's coming and hidden passions begin boiling over, threatening their idyllic household. At work, Dad's "training" a new associate while his wife's lust starts to get the better of her at home. Their son, Bud, spies on his dream girl as Rebecca, their daughter, tries to decide when and how she'll give up her virginity. What secrets are they hiding under a veneer of 1920's respectability?

Terry, a young nursing assistant, enjoys married life with her new husband Charley, a mechanic. Before Charley, she shared a flat (and a bed) with Nancy. Nancy visits her with an urgent proposal, she's homeless and proposes to move in, do housework and meals. Terry is so excited they fall into bed to celebrate. But Charley walks in on them, naked and entangled. His heart, head, and groin are all telling him differently what to do next. (Codes to be added as story develops.)
