Steampunk literature makes Victorian writing more interesting. Lots of varied intercourse, some not of the spoken kind. Our heroine is an aspiring copulist, studying bed skills for a month at a castle school. The story is short but sweet.
Lets do the numbers using 6 for C, 7 for B, and 8 for A. Plot is nothing elaborate, a framework to hang the sex scenes, based on a diary the heroine writes as the month of instruction progresses. I give it a 7. It works but there isn't a lot happening outside of school activities.
Technical quality is also fine, I didn't see any errors, but some of the elaborate names for body parts were unfamiliar to me, so I might have missed something. Lets give it an A plus, a 9. Nobody is perfect. Appeal to Reviewer is also a 9. I only give one ten a month, at most, and I am saving it incase something even better comes along.
I urge you all to read this story. It's older than some on SOL, I found it browsing the stories from the past, although that story was another by the same author. I intend to read that one next.
