A collection of stories inspired by Greek legend and mythology. Beyond Birgit, there is the usual full cast of characters, but, no matter how you cut it, this is a book centered on the Empress of the Universe — it wasn't titled The Pumpkin Patch for nothing! This is a continuation of the third A Well-Lived Life Series.

Years ago, Reluctant_Sir posted a very interesting story about a young man who became a Mage, and then a Wizard. But the story didn't stop just there. So, WITH HIS PERMISSION, I have taken this story a little farther down the line. Hopefully I can attempt to copy the quality that he began this story with. Thank you all, and YES, I do have his permission.

One of the best things to happen lately was when my cousin quit her job as a professional escort, A.K.A. hooker, whore, or whatever else you call it. I know she loved her "work" and was making a fortune but even with the few experiences I had with her I knew sooner or later it would end in tragedy. Being a Realtor may not be as glamorous (she's in school now), but after having worked with her mom (also a realtor) before, I was sure she would still find ample opportunity to use her "talents".

If you're like me, it's probably more the things you DIDN'T do in high school that you regret more than anything you did. Even then, it's not really WHAT I didn't do so much as WHO I didn't do. Although we can't go back in time and do things over, sometimes you get another chance at it later in life. The question was, what would I do when such an opportunity arose?
