Von Solon's Universe —
A Universe from the Mind of Feral Lady
The Empire is a fictional location in some of my intergalactic stories, including the planet Haven. Imperial control is weak and strife is common between planets and corporations in the Solon Universe. An unstable wormhole is among the celestial features and leads to the adventures of Von Solon Wolfenstein. The Empire consists of a few dozen habitable planets and numerous space stations and outposts.
The son of a prominent family becomes a castaway on a previously undiscovered world, now called Haven. Most of the stories about him.
Von finds himself dropped into a medieval world alone. A head injury steals his memory and the meager supply from an escape pod won't take him far. He must find civilization and survive until rescued. His training has not prepared him for what is coming. The continued story of Von Solon, which requires reading Castaway: Von's Haven. Rescued from Haven, after the destruction of his starship,Von is returned to his universe through the unstable wormhole. Two brave sisters risked everything to find him, using a prototype shuttle, but Von wakes up very unhappy with them. He lets them know his goal is to return to his family on the primitive planet. Unfortunately, there are hidden agendas at work and they don't include Von's goals.
A semi-retired pilot thinks he is having a bad day, only to discover he is in the way of powerful people. The political needs of a few warrant the removal of obstacles like him. Our hero unwittingly makes it personal for an assassin just doing his job.
The third in the Von Solon series, this story returns him to Haven. Lady Derwen is particularly pleased to see her husband, because she needs him to accompany an envoy from Conquest Point to visit an influential princess on the Amarian coastline. Our intrepid hero knows Derwen's shipping empire funds much of his family needs, and if the leadership of the independent city state called in a favor then he needs to assist the mission. It just wasn't as trouble-free a trip as everyone thought.
Von Solon Saga's 4th story, which only makes sense if you have read the prior stories. This tale takes place in Juniper Hills the settlement that our hero established. Here he is creating a culture of creativity and social advancement. However, he has promises to keep and women to keep happy. It is a lot of work to balance work and wives. How is he going to do that?
Von Solon Saga's 5th story, which takes place within the Kingdom of Amar. The King is dead and Von's royal wife needs his aid in defending her land during the opening phase of a civil war. This is a short story where a little application of modern technology and the right weapons will reap far-reaching consequences.
