A Good Medicine Story
Part of the A Well-Lived Life universe
Mike's third year of medical school has been, in very simple terms, very hard. Having to put together an entirely new routine centered around your helpless and vulnerable infant daughter, along with continuing to excel academically, would be a strain for anybody finding themselves suddenly a single parent. Although it hasn't been easy, it's yet another test that Mike passes with, by most people's judgement, flying colors. So, where does he go from here?

Riley read an article about how much privacy we've lost, and how much satellites could see. She was sure nobody would ever actually spy on her as she lay out in her yard, catching some rays in her bikini. But the whole satellite thing made her mad so she protested. That protest was in the form of a sheet stapled to her roof that said "Hey NSA. Can you see me now?" It was a joke, really. But that joke changed her life, because somebody DID see it.

So it's been five years. A lot can happen, but there is a lot that is under construction. Hank and his Clan are working on things to benefit Fae, Wizards, and Mages. And it's all a lot of hard work. And not all of it is being done in the same place.

After suffering a family tragedy, Eric is depressed. Tom, his roommate, convinces Eric to go home with Tom to Vermont for Christmas. Eric's reluctant, but decides to go. Oh, and did Tom ever mention Kathy, his sister? Bring your hanky for this one! The codes are (MF) and (teen) because my protagonists are 18 and 19. Winner of the Silver Clitorides award for December 2003
