A Dark Wars Tale
One of the greatest prophets in human history was just born in an out-of-the-way inn's stable and already his destiny is in jeopardy. The King in Jerusalem and the religious elders, warned of his coming, seek out the child in order to assure fate does not play out as is foretold. Shocked by this vision, the master of a school for the arcane in the city of Taksasila summons three of his best masters for a mission into the Roman Empire to lay protections upon the child and save his destiny.

His girlfriend is mad over something petty, and not speaking to him. When he happens across her mom exiting the tavern - drunk and needing a ride - he doesn't suspect what kind of ride she really needs. (Prequel to "Coming In Third" set in the 80s)

Behold the man. Something a bit different to normal. A friend read my story about Joseph, liked it, and wrote re-worked Easter story. The disciples weren't the saintly creatures in stained glass windows, they were working class, rough round the edges. This attempts to bring that out a little more.
