A Rachael of Emarukistan Story This is a companion story to the four stories in the Rachael of Emarukistan series, which are set around the ninth century CE. Meghr is introduced in Rachael and the Warlord (part four of the series) when she is around nineteen years old. This stand-alone short story provides Meghr's back-story, and what becomes of her after she leaves Rachael's caravanserai, Wadi Halaf. This story can be read without previously reading any of the Rachael of Emarukistan series.
