A Rachael of Emarukistan Story This is a companion story to the four stories in the Rachael of Emarukistan series, which are set around the ninth century CE. This stand-alone short story provides Meghr's back-story, and what becomes of her after she leaves Rachael's caravanserai, Wadi Halaf. This story can be read without previously reading any of the Rachael of Emarukistan series.
