The Emir plays with the minds and the bodies of some of his subjects. The husband of one of the slaves, a kidnapped Sicilian woman, tries to rescue her, and feels the full force of the Emir's wrath. A prostitute in a cheap brothel discovers his gratitude. A would-be rapist picks the wrong target and suffers for it. The Emir explores more of his magnificent Palace complex and discovers some very interesting rooms indeed. This is the author’s least favourite novel in the Delights series.

From the dark and deep corners of a shallow mind surfaced a short story from my 311 Creative Writing Class in College. I had no idea I remembered it. It shuffled out tonight, captured my fingers and improved itself. I got an A+

The conflict between the American Indian Tribes and the European Settlers during the period (1492-1892). The story will be presented in UNBIASED historical fact format combined with fictional accounts of confrontations between the warring parties at various points in time during the 400 year period. The primary geographical areas of contention are addressed to include most of the lower "48" in different periods. Estimated length will be about 40K words.

Lebanese-English fourteen-year-old boy, Amir, goes with his submissively gay father, Afram, on holiday in Turkish Cyprus in 1986. Amir wants to go the same way sexually as his father, but has not been taken there yet. His father hooks up with a hunky Danish UN contingent soldier, who also has the eye for Amir. A muscular Turkish fisherman sees Amir, though, and might just get there first. Amir doesn’t really care who is first as long as someone relieves him of the burden.

To keep his mother, Tala, and himself going, fourteen-year-old Filipino-American boy Angelo takes up with American sailors near the 1973 Subic Bay, Philippines, naval complex when his B-girl mother is too ill to turn tricks. They have had a hardscrabble existence in the Olongapo City slums since Angelo's sailor father shipped out thirteen years earlier. Angelo is ready to service sailors, but being handed around proves to be a rough, loveless life.
