Each July, I post a story to honor those who’ve served. The heroes in this were famous in their time but forgotten now. I want to remind you who they were... He had more money than morals. But he was living a perfect life until the Japanese spoiled the fun. The misery of Santo Tomas showed him who he was, and a tough Army nurse made him into the man he wanted to be. 535 AD. A Princess of Northern Wei is dispatched to the Khan of the Western Rouran as a bride in order to buy peace. This is a "First-Time" story, and there is indeed one long "loss of virginity" sex scene, but it's a long way into the story and there's no other sex apart from that.

I post a story every July to honor folks who've served, and I try to focus on obscure people in each. I'm from a generation where guys returning from honorable service weren't given the credit they deserved. That was also the case with the Women Air Service Pilots—the WASPs. On 15 September 1942 the USS WASP (CV 7) was struck my multiple torpedoes that caused massive fires and tremendous explosions. After a forty minute effort to fight the fires, abandon ship was ordered. 193 crewmen lost their lives. One of those crewmen had written a letter to his five year-old son, which I offer you on Veteran's Day 2024 as a reminder of why these days of national rememberance and honor are so important.
