A story set in the Pinwheel Universe
Stanley drops out of agricultural college to join the Navy, and is shipped off to a space station known as the Pinwheel to complete his training as a UNN Marine. There he meets Raz, an unruly alien who he will be forced to befriend if he wants to complete the program.

This book contains some sex, but those sections are marked if you wish to skip. It is a slice of life and coming of age adventure involving ancient artifacts, food, school, travel between universes, creepy mysteries, and alien intelligences. A new town, a new school, a new home. Sam is almost 16, and as he helps his Dad paint the new house, a 200 year old mansion picked up cheap at auction, he discovers disturbing things about the previous resident, and evidence of a hidden treasure. This is a Western story in two parts. The Palmer Ranch with Randy and Sheila on the East end of the valley, and the Ferris Ranch with Dave and Teresa on the West end with the town of Ferris in the center. The first part will stand alone. The second part has the same stand alone quality. It tells the story of the long valley where Ferris Town draws characters from both. Some characters speak in dialect. Ignore the spelling. Sound these words out to get the meaning.

This is the second story in the series. It tells of mature and conflicting loves and the deliverance of a girl from the after effects of sexual abuse. It is set in modern England but in the West Country where things are a little less modern than in London.

When raiders, the horse barbarians,attack their village, Nikshith fled with most of the other villagers. At 75, he soon had trouble keeping up with the younger people. He laid an ambush for the attackers and killed two of them before they killed him. An hour or so later, he came back to life, his wounds healed.
