But, a year later, when the insurance money came in, it was still too early to rebuild. So they took a road trip in a motor home, to see the world and get to know each other again. I was flying the first week of April 2020 when this story came to me. Story of what happens on an overseas flight during the initial part of a pandemic. When you are one of the people the airline agrees to fly for the government. And the only other passengers are also considered special or are airline employees who don't have to work on the flight since there are only three passengers. A flight where pandemic fears remove all the rules of flying.
