Fourth in the Ned Kelly series. Ned carries on doing what Ned does best. He spends his summer holidays in the company of several ladies, most of whom end up pregnant.

Fayard knows he’s young, too young to have all the answers, but he reckons life has already taught him a thing or two. Having returned from boarding school, he intends to while away many long, leisurely days in his hometown before setting off for university. He certainly doesn’t foresee any drastic upheavals looming on the horizon. This is a slight reworking of a old story of mine with a bit more editing set in the 1950s. 14 year old Jonathan visits the reverend to help with the upcoming church sale

Love at first sight. Not always a recipe for happiness. Especially when it's a schoolboy falling for his teacher. Luke does at least manage to get her to notice him, although not really in the way that he'd have liked. Then he defends her honor and what girl can resist that, even if it wasn't particularly successful. The course of true love never did run smooth.

Originally titled 'The Server'. This romantic short story is about two young people finding each other.
