A Waikiki PI Story
Waikiki PI Story #4. Our intrepid hero is on a sleazy fraud case when he is haunted by friends from his childhood. One of them, a disturbed psychotic, is the prime suspect in a gruesome murder. Will he solve the case and revitalize his friendships? (It's best to read the earlier stories in the Universe to understand the characters.)
One of the "Laura" stories I have written; this time sees Laura finally getting together with another woman to fulfill her own fantasy - and gets much more filled.
Shipwrecked on a deserted island with his wife, Mary, and his thirteen-year-old daughter, Alyson, Doug Bryant learns about himself and about raising a daughter. This is the original concept of the previously posted story. It does not have the violent ending of the first posted version, but nevertheless it is not my usual ending.
I went to my friend's house to spend the night but he was in the hospital. I was stuck with his annoying cheerleader sister, but it was better than being out in the cold. Oh, how it turned out to be better!
Another of the "Laura" series of stories. This one was the very first one I wrote years ago and it filled out over a period of time. This one has lovely Laura at home alone at night and ends up having her fantasy come true. And all because she watched her fiance's unmarked videotape...
A story in the Tarleton Universe
Violet Worden was the daughter of a vicar, and thus -- barely -- a gentlewoman. Then tragedy made her a poor, if learned, orphan. She made herself into a governess by pluck and skill. She could never go higher, and she chastised herself for letting an Earl enter her dreams.
