Alice failed to show up at work one morning. Her roommate thinks she's headed cross-country to her childhood home on a now non-producing ranch in Montana. Her parents receive word that Alice's pickup truck was found on a remote corner of the ranch. Inside is no trace of her; however she has left behind her journal that describes a strange encounter she experienced ten years earlier when she was an unhappy girl in high school.
I'm a 58 year old widower, my daughter askes if her daughter can stay with me while she attends college --- i hadn't seen Dani since she was 12... now she's 18 and almost too pretty!
Suspend belief. This is a totally sappy romantic fantasy with a few religious overtones and a fair bit of sex. It was too erotic for finestories. That makes it different for me. It was fun to write and I hope you will find it fun to read. I hope you enjoy it in the vein it is submitted. I just pile on the good fortune! If you remember Pollyanna or know the term, these two have it happening. Hopefully, it's fun to read for some light-hearted, happy fare
A romance with aliens involved! Two college students meet thanks to a strange message. Their stories emerge as they get to know each other and the alien. It has religious overtones. I hope you enjoy the ride!

A Simon and Trudi Story Simon's life continues to grow in complexity. On the one hand, he is interviewed by Jemma's parents. On the other, there is a knock at the door in the middle of the night and there, on the doorstep, wearing just a jacket and a over-sized tee-shirt, is Trudi, bringing with her the night of Simon's life...
If you read 'Writers Notebook', you'll see the ties. Neither tale needs the other, however. Writers_Forum is through the eyes if another English teacher, some time ago. I rather enjoyed envisioning how things might seem to someone with different issues. I want readers who enjoy language enough to, as they say, "get it". We're a much smaller sorority than those who just "do it", the mid school verb of choice.
