A story in the Post Gettysburg Universe
Pearl was tired of the way that boys showed their interest in her. Jonah, though, was a man. And when he was interested in her, she was as interested in him.

Most of the world was not aware of the racial discrimination and genocide by light-skinned blacks against dark-skinned or ink-black Africans. This story tells of the dream of a young ink-black girl who had a dream, and her journey to make it come to life.
