Reviewed:
This story is a coming of age tale with lots of football and plenty of sex. We meet the hero in his Junior year of high school and a miraculous football head injury turns him from a less than mediocre student to one with good grades. He is converted from defense to fullback and then quarterback, wins almost all the football games reported in the story, goes to the University of Georgia and gets the Heisman Trophy his senior year. He takes the struggling Jaguars to the Superbowl several times, gets married to his high school sweetheart after high school graduation, they have children and they live pretty much happily ever after, he does need knee replacement after 15 years of NFL activity and retires.
Almost all the action in the story is during his high school senior year. Its a good story and deserves eights for plot and appeal. I didn't see any technical quality issues but I am taking off a little because the ending is a little rough. Lots of information is jammed into the end of the last chapter. There could easily been sequels about college and another about playing in the NFL. I guess its better to know what happened than not to be told at all.
