Halloween 2024
On a band trip to New Orleans he stopped into a hole-in-the-wall shop, where an old woman offered to sell him a little bottle of Love Potion #9. He was a high school student who had a crush on his geometry teacher and, just for fun, at the Halloween dance, he spiked her punch. Except instead of only two drops, as the old woman had instructed him, his nervousness caused him to dump half the bottle. It was the best Halloween night of his life, and October 31st was never the same again.
Christine was a single Mom who found any talk of technical matters intensely boring. A single unwise click on an unsolicited email would have a profound effect on both her own, and her teenage daughter's lives.
This for those who want it all--cheating, revenge, winning the lottery, murder, divorce, romance, cool dogs, hot chicks, yada yada. I caught a lot of hell over on "Lit" for it either being too much of this or not enough of that. I wont even include the original 5th chapter (I'm still stinging from the stoning I got for it!). Instead I will finish it with my revised final(?) chapter. Hope you all like it. BTW this is NOTHING like my prior stories. It is vanilla compared to "Cheater" and "John".
This is a 12 chapter series covering the high school years of Danny Collins. He begins with his own Summer of 42, when the wife of a soldier in Viet Nam takes him to her bed, teaching him every sexual thing he will need to know to become a master of women's needs. The series carries him through high school and the women who share his bed.
This is the first two chapters of an unfinished work. I want to see if it's something that y'all would be interested in, before I put my full attention on it.
