This is a story about death. Many romanticize the vampire and its immortal longing for blood, but pity the reluctant vampire, taken and turned more for spite than any other reason. The reluctant vampire does not romanticize his fate, but sees it in all its stark reality... a life whose passion does not focus on love or sex, but on hunting, killing, and draining the blood of the humans unlucky enough to be considered perfect prey.

I was born with a gift or curse depending on who you ask. I could control fire or heat and since I was young none wanted me. I left my family and traveled to a city where a noble tried to sell me to a company of mercenaries. Only I was not one to accept a chain and made my point. I joined them and accepted a girl who knew about others that could use the power of the mind like us. We marched the next day to face raiders and I both learned and taught those with us.

Jessica wants to marry Casey. Casey wants to do the same. But Casey has fantasies and thoughts, things that are keeping him from giving Jessica all of his heart. Jessica is a therapist and she knows just what he needs.

Joel is just a typical teenager living in a world where elves and humans coexistence is still somewhat new. Even though his girlfriend is an elf, he has an eye for her mother.

A young mage goes hunting for a lost tomb. His adventure begins with his trip in a huge airship. A beautiful teenage mage shares his rooms and plans. When the ship finally lands she goes with him. Of course ancient tombs have traps and curses and even worse.

Young Holisz was fascinated by the study of wizardry, but then he found something even more interesting: girls! Young women! One in particular took his fantasy, but there was a problem. Holisz, orphaned as a young boy, worked as groom to the baron's horses, while the damsel who captured his fancy was the baron's only daughter! 'Twas a forbidden relationship, and when Holisz' enemies discovered them together, quick were they to inform the baron! 'Tis a rollicking tale, and ye enjoy low humor!

Mythical creatures are real, or at least two of them. Twins but different creatures, like their late parents. A danger to those who wish to control them, but pleasure for those who don't.

Tara's story continues. After preparing for a cross-country move and finding herself on a very different adventure, Tara arrives at the legendary city of Sessrumnir, where she meets with the city's ruler herself, the Lady Freya, and discovers where she must plant her precious heartseeds. NOTE: Although this story is marked complete, its 4 parts are published separately interspersed with other stories in the series.
