James William Smith has leapt into a body in 1855; this is my first attempt at a Western, utilizing elements from Cowboys & Aliens, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Doctor Quinn Medicine Woman and Assassin's Creed. I have taken elements from each and smashed them into a story, with my own erotic twist thrown in. If you like my work, be sure to watch the films of all three and read the Cowboys & Aliens novel. This story is designed to highlight the extreme conditions of physical, emotional and sexual abuse to which all Roman slaves were liable to be exposed, through the experiences of three boy gladiators. It was inspired largely by the TV series 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand' (and features a cameo from one of the characters) and the book 'Time Hunters: Gladiator Clash' by Adam Blade. Credit goes to ChatGPT for talking through my ideas with me and coming up with interesting settings for some scenes.

This story is loosely based upon the Roy Orbison song. It just came to me on a trip when I was playing a CD with that song on it. We'll see if it works. It's short as is the song.
